KIGALI – it is the first time the World Peace was celebrated officially in Rwanda, In the past, it was NURC and some local non government organizations, institutions and associations including GCAP Rwanda Coalition that paid attention to celebrating the day, but this year, very many players came aboard, which is a positive development.

GCAP National coalitions across Africa call on the  African Union and European Commission to support a Financial Transaction tax to help eliminate  poverty and achieve the MDGS.
