The Feminist Task Force of the Global Call to Action against Poverty held the Belem Women’s Tribunals on Gender and Climate Justice on Monday, November 30th, highlighting the disproportionate impact of climate change on women around the world

Thousands of Dalits and socially excluded people will march from Ramlila Grounds to Parliament Street in New Delhi to highlight their plight and demands with special reference to climate justice.

The Global Call to Action Against Poverty (GCAP) Socially Excluded Task Force is calling for 5 December: World Dignity Day – International Day of Socially Excluded and 5-12 December: World Dignity Week – International Week for Climate Justice, to assert dignity, justice, rights and freedom of humankind against all kinds of discrimination and exclusion based on caste, religion, colour, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, ability/disability or language. We seek Climate Justice and an end to Poverty, Inequality and Social Exclusion.
